why are there so many property experts. I was up North the other day and whilst getting up turned on the Beeb to find two women talking utter gibberish when asked serious questions about what's going on at the moment. It's really very difficult to know what constitutes experience, or qualification, in property really. I somehow don't think that having been an interior designer, done up a few properties or been a buying agent for a few months is good enough. One thing is for sure, and that is that things have changed somewhat, but that means you need to be talking to someone who knows what they're on about more than ever. The press don't have an easy job reporting property. How the hell do they know who to talk to either.

Never ceases to amaze me how many vitriolic people there are out there willing to jump on anybody's back if they perceive them to be successful. In the main people in property who do well do so by accident, any old fool can make money in a rising market can't they? But there appear to be many people out there, judging by the response of some who commented on one of my pieces which was on the Telegraph website, who hope we all go to hell in a handcart simply because they begrudge someone a profit. There are a lot of mean spirited people out there, that's for sure.
One other thing that occurred to me over the weekend, what about the porr people who live in that house being dug up by the coppers who keep discovering bodies. They've bought up a family there since 1995!!! Imagine finding out you'd done so with people buried in the garden. They've then got to wait until the police are finished and even then I wouldn't want to move back in, would you. Feel really sorry for them and not sure anyone has really said that yet.
