Right...it's been far too long and so much has happened. Feel frazzled and that's just work. Since I last spoke I've taken kids back to school, and that's proved how wet I am for sure. There's something about driving off and leaving your little ones on someone else's doorstep, and having twins at different schools, both flipping miles away in the West Country, meant it was all very fraught. I've also realized how manipulative kids can be. My son rings up pretending to feel sad but reckons some gadget or new operating system for his mandatory Mac will alleviate his sadness. Funny how he doesn't call his mother to say he's sad, she won't give in like I do. Such a mug.

Utterly fed up with daft press headlines about the property market. If you read the actual articles all say there's just going to be a slow down, which there is and thank God for it. Trouble is that Economics is all about self fulfilling prophecies and, particularly at The Times, you'd have thought no one owned property.
Still prone to having the odd puff on a cigarette and lungs not feeling so good. Don't know why I can't resist the odd one. Can go days without one and then get the urge and, whilst out and about, smoke half a dozen and feel rotten.
Played Monopoly with my girlfriend's son last night and won...a first for me, but there was £1500 quid in free parking when I landed on it and that's enough to win, wish real life was like that.
