Pretty sure that having kids on holiday is an oxymoron. This weekend with my girlfriend there were, including her au pair, seven of us and that's forgetting two dogs (including a puppy) two mice and three laptops. Gave us both a stress headache and makes me even more impressed that my girlfriend actually works for a living too. No idea how she does it.
Having major problems with my knee, 26 years ago I smashed it up very badly whilst chasing a mate on the Kings Road and left it behiond in some railings. 26 years of walking oddly has meant it's more of less given up and following an op recently to attempt to sort it out I've been in endless phsio and visits to the gym. I had an era once once when I went for five years pretty much daily, but the problem is it's soooo dull. News channels on a 15 minute loop, pretty pappy music blaring and a lack of watchable sport regularly means there's not much to look at whilst pounding away on a machine. I also realized that whatever I built up would turn to fat at some point in the future. Have to do something though as the problems creep up your body and end up crippling you if you're not careful.
Got my kids in the office today which would be a pain except that everyone here rather loves them which is really sweet, hope they're not just being nice coz I'm the boss!! The kids love it and I hope it might even be instilling some kind of sense of work in them...fat chance. Talking of fat chance I love this picture of a health club in the US...irony or what.
